After being born in Dayton, Ohio and reared on midwestern punk rock, Park found himself performing on the streets and sidewalks of Paris, France.  From Paris, he made his way to Ithaca, NY where he became drawn into the Freak Folk scene centered around the legendary ABC Café and developed his own ‘Folk Atomique’ approach to music, performing as Park Doing and as ‘Atomic Forces’.  After being awarded Rock Record of the Year (twice) and Avant Rock Record of the Year by the Ithaca Journal for self-produced EPs/mixtapes, he became a sought-after producer among those performers, producing records for The Settlers, Trevor MacDonald, and Kiev.  He then began spending time in New York City becoming involved in film and video happenings centered around The Anthology Film Archives, and also pursued studies in the philosophy of science and technology.  His ongoing multimedia projects are investigations into our relationships with our technological reflections and he has written a book, Velvet Revolution at the Synchrotron with MIT Press that is an anthropological account of a particle physics laboratory.  Since 2018, he has performed in many cities in the U.S. and Europe, including tours with his friends Guided by Voices, from Dayton, and his friend Johnny Dowd, from Ithaca by way of Palls Valley, Oklahoma.  His first full length LP release, The Origin of Radar, produced with Rob Kuhlman at Root Cellar Music Studio in Monroe, GA was released in 2023 on Brightspark Records - file under lo-fi glam trash techno!
